What is a Sugardate? Well, I've heard about many people setting a goal to go without eating any sweet treats for a certain amount of time. For some it might be a week, others might set their sights on a special occasion. Maybe they'd just like to make it until the end of one day!

I did it! (1/2 Marathon and Sugardate)

Well, I'm happy to report that I survived the 1/2 marathon.  It was a fantastic experience filled with lots of friends and laughter.  It was so great to run it with my wonderful husband, Ed.  He could have gone much faster, but chose to share the race with me.  Our time was 2:16:45...

And after the race, our Sugardate arrived!  It was nice to sink my teeth into a long-awaited treat.  It felt really great to make such healthful eating choices the whole month of January and I'm ready and motivated to Sugardate again...

So, no treats until Valentine's Day...  February 14.
